Age Is Just a Number
Cheers to 29🍻 I've wanted to write this blog post for a while and thought today was a good day for it. Let's back up a bit. I was probably 22 years old when during a brow treatment, a client - let's call her Mary - started telling me about her 22-year-old daughter: 'I think she does drugs, always causes problems, her boyfriend is terrible to her.. Anyway, she's very immature, how old are you, Alexandra? I'm sure even a few years make a change.' I froze. I froze because I was the same age as her daughter. What did my soft self say? I said 26..😭 and regreted it quickly right after.. that '26' followed me for years. I could not wait to turn 26 years old. Everytime my age came up during a treatment, I'd be 26. I didn't know how to lie so I had these scenarios in my head that all my clients were relatives of Mary. 🤣 Anyway, to this day, after hundreds of yearly treatments I do in permanent makeup, I still have clients who come to get servi...
